About us

Two people who build the thing, not a deck about the thing.

Virescent runs sales and marketing for small and mid-size businesses. We find where your business loses customers and build AI into the tools you already use to win them back. You work with the two of us directly, start to finish.

What we do

The sales and marketing work nobody has time for, done every day.

Most small and mid-size businesses do not lack demand. They lose it on the way in: leads that wait for a reply, quotes nobody chases, reviews nobody asks for, customers who drift away because nobody checked in. We build AI systems that do that work reliably, inside your own CRM, inbox, calendar and ad accounts, and a person approves anything that speaks for your brand.

We run five things, built in your own systems and tied into your data, so the results stay when the engagement ends:

Mike Haynes

I’m Mike, co-founder and CEO of Virescent. My job is simple: find where AI actually wins you more customers, scope it honestly, and make sure what we promise actually ships.

Before we build anything, I look at how customers actually find you, reach you and buy from you, and where they slip away. Then Ryan and I put AI to work on the follow-up, outreach and chasing that nobody has time for. That means more customers without hiring a bigger team.

I keep things plain and skip the tech talk. You work with me directly, from the first call to the finished product. And if there’s a faster or cheaper way to get you there, I’ll tell you.

Ryan Dewsnap

I’m Ryan, co-founder and CTO of Virescent. I’m a computer engineer, and I’ve spent years building across the whole stack, embedded systems and hardware on one end, frontend and pure software on the other. Ever since I was a kid I’ve needed to know how things actually work, down to the layer most people are happy to treat as a black box.

That’s what I bring to your project. Before I automate anything, I want to understand how your work really flows, because the goal isn’t the most impressive system, it’s the right-sized one. I’d rather build you something lean that runs quietly for years than something clever you have to babysit.

I’m restlessly curious about better ways to do things, always testing new tools and approaches, ignoring the hype, and telling you straight which is which.
